Keynote Speaker – Robert Matticola, Tunnel To Towers
Robert is the current Director of Homeland Security for the New York Waterway Ferry. He was awarded maritime honors for rescuing passengers in the crash of US Air Flight 1549 into the Hudson River. Robert worked in the 9/11 recovery efforts as a disaster relief volunteer. He was responsible for the Planning, Coordination and Delivery of Emergency Services at Ground Zero. He worked closely with FDNY, PAPD, NYPD, OEM and other Rescue Personnel on all aspects of Rescue / Recovery Operation. Worked "on scene" as member of FDNY Rescue / Recovery Team Group 1-WTC Task Force.
